Wayne and Lisa Prince started what is now Prince and Son Tree Specialists in 1988 in Statesboro, GA. At that time, it was called Prince Tree and Stump Removal. Wayne actually cut his first tree out of a climbing deer stand.
Over the years, Wayne prided himself on strong relations within his community and service area. Wayne made sure he taught his son, Justin, the importance of leaving a job as if you had never been there.
Justin, now a owner of Prince and Son, started working along side his father in 1994 as a young boy. At the age of 15 years old, Justin cut his first tree out of the bucket truck by himself.
Together, they have traveled to work over 20 natural disasters in several different states. Wayne actually traveled a lot of these storms with his brothers who are actually in the tree business as well. Some of Justin’s favorite childhood memories are working some of these storms with his daddy and uncles. Wayne has even had the opportunity to do work for Vanilla Ice and Gloria Estefan.
Justin took over the family business in 2014. He is now proud to continue his father’s legacy. His sister, Jessica, has also joined in with helping haul debri and roll off containers. Prince and Son is definitely more than your average tree company. They’re a family based business that looks forward to serving you!
